Gift Guide: Boss/Coworker (Under $100)

I'm excited to share gift ideas for a coworker or boss today; this is a new category of gift guide for me and I hope you find it helpful! 

I tried to pick a variety of items, all under $100 (that felt right?) below! I gifted my old boss this warming mug a few years ago and it was a big hit! Other great ideas: a nice bottle of wine, a gift card to a coffee shop near the office, or a gift card to a restaurant in their neighborhood! 

Fall Finds Under $100

I planned to share the first Gift Guide today, but I got so distracted while online shopping this morning that I'm back again with another fall finds post. I know this is my third one (first here and second here), but I couldn't believe how many fabulous things I was finding for under $100 (and most under $50!) so I had to share. Maybe we'll start the Gift Guides next week, I wasn't ready yet anyway, haha. (but thank you to everyone who shared Gift Guide requests & ideas on my IG story yesterday - SO helpful, so many great ideas that I'll definitely be using to create this year's assortment!)

More Fall Finds!

Hello hello! I can't believe we are nearing the end of October. It's been interesting to see how different the seasons are in NYC compared to Wisconsin... here, it's just true fall for October & November, whereas where I'm from, it would go from summer to winter so fast that my fall wardrobe was always synonymous with my winter wardrobe with an exception of just a few short weeks. This year, I am fully into the idea of cute sweaters, skirts, and lighter jackets for the next month or so before it actually gets cold, so I've rounded up additional fall finds in today's post!

I feel like I haven't shopped in forever. I bought a few things for my trip (Rhode Island recap here + Hamptons recap here), but (somehow!) that was already over a month ago. Even though I'm at home not doing much, I have been getting drinks outside with friends, which obviously, that calls for a cute outfit! I also hate not having something cute to wear for Instagram photos, as dumb as that sounds. It's August next week, so what better excuse than my birthday month for sprucing up my wardrobe?!

Welcome back! In today's episode of "how I'm procrastinating my ~virtual~ homework by writing blog posts instead," I'm sharing a ton of cute spring things I've found under $100! I mentioned on Friday that I haven't been doing a lot of shopping for clothes... I have nothing to get dressed for these days (does anyone?!), but that doesn't mean that spring won't eventually roll around, and we might find ourselves craving a cute outfit to keep us sane. Maybe in a few weeks, we will even get a little Instagram photo while social distancing? I mean, the quarantine creativity is surely only going up from here.

When it comes to shopping for fall clothes, I have an uncontrollable habit consisting of finding cozy pieces, adding them to my cart, and inevitably spending far too much money on sweaters, boots, and jackets that I don't necessarily need (or at least, that's what my mom tells me!). Because fall shopping is so addicting, I rounded up some pieces on my current wishlist that are all under $100 so we can shop for fall together without breaking the bank!

Happy Thursday, babes! I've spent the last couple of days working on an 11 page paper due later this morning, and I'm happy to have that over and done with. Spring Steals Under $70

With spring break coming up and all of the new arrivals in my favorite stores, it's so hard to save my money for London and not buy every cute thing I've been finding lately! My favorite solution... finding a few cute pieces I love at a great price point so I can get excited about new pieces without going crazy.

This Week's Top 10: Under $100 Finds

Happy Friday! This weekend in particular is one that I have been looking forward to since the last came to a close. Caroline visiting, a game day and the farmer's market tomorrow, rooftop yoga and brunch on Sunday... I finally have a bunch of things to do!!! Haha, but actually. In case you missed it, yesterday on the blog I shared what's new in my life as of late. So, I want to mix up This Week's Top 10 from what's happening in my life and sharing random things and instead share a round up of ten pieces I discovered this week all under $100!

6 Shoes (Under $100) I'm Loving

This summer I can't seem to get enough of all the cute shoe trends popping up everywhere. From platforms to espadrilles and strappy sandals... I am in love with almost all of the cute footwear out right now. One thing I just can't get myself on the bandwagon for is slides. Maybe it's just me (it feels like it is!) but I'm not a fan... of course, to each their own! I do, however, love a great pair of mules, as you can see below!

Stripes and Gingham Under $100

When spring rolls around it officially becomes the perfect time to break out the best color combination: blue and white. I'm a sucker for stripes and gingham anything, and there are so many cute options that I've found this year! A ton of them would be so cute for a spring break trip, especially this bikini. Fortunately, stripes and gingham come in pretty shades of pink (in love with this dress!) and red as well.

I shared this photo on Instagram last week when the weather was over 70 degrees (ugh, please come back!) and you can find my dress here. There is also a romper version of the dress that is just as cute!

Trend to Try: Off Shoulder Sweater

It's no secret that I'm a fan of the off-shoulder look, and I love how the trend has carried into colder temps! Living in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, I get to enjoy (insert eye roll) long winters, meaning I pretty much live in sweaters half the year. I feel like off-shoulder sweaters would be a great piece under a winter coat, but also cute to transition for summer nights over dresses or paired with shorts.

10 White Dresses Under $100

Now that Easter has come and gone, there really aren't any holidays until Memorial Day, aka the official day when wearing white becomes socially acceptable. I'm not necessarily a firm believer that you must forbid yourself from donning any white-colored clothing before May 30, but I do get excited thinking about all of the cute white dresses out for the seasons ahead.

When the weather finally warms up and wardrobes switch over to the spring and summer selection, I think there is no better night out option, casual day dress or really anything more perfect for all kinds of events than a little white dress. For a lot of graduations too, I know girls are required to wear white dresses, so this round up of options (all under $100!) might be helpful if that's the case for you.

I think the high neck, slit front option above is an incredible deal... it looks so expensive but it's under $50. The same goes for the mesh top, off shoulder dress; I love that unique style! Definitely a great option for a graduation or any other formal event! And that short sleeve dress... paired with sneakers, sandals, wedges, oh my! You could style that frock with anything for an everyday look or dress it up for a dinner out.
