Recreating Outfits from Pinterest + Instagram

So.... they kind of lifted the stay-at-home policy in Wisconsin last night. A few weeks ago when I was in Madison I saw a lot of protestors around the capital and figured it would be a matter of time until the rules for sheltering at home were loosened at least a little bit. Although things won't be going back to complete normalcy any time soon, this gives us a bit of home that we are coming out of quarantine sooner rather than later! I thought it might help me (and hopefully, you!) get inspired to head back out into the world by recreating some cute outfits I've seen on Pinterest and Instagram lately. After all, it's been like two months of leggings and sweatpants, and I've kind of forgotten what real clothes are like.

Spring Steals Under $70

With spring break coming up and all of the new arrivals in my favorite stores, it's so hard to save my money for London and not buy every cute thing I've been finding lately! My favorite solution... finding a few cute pieces I love at a great price point so I can get excited about new pieces without going crazy.

Steal Her Style: Spring Inspiration

One of my favorite ways to recreate outfits that inspire me on Instagram, Pinterest, or other bloggers, is to find similar pieces that fit my own sense of style, and mix them together to create a "me" version of someone else's look.

Steal Her Style

When fall rolls around every season all I want to do is layer up in sweaters and look cozy and chic as much as the next girl. However, that's a little tricky when we are bouncing between 70 degree temps in the afternoon and 40s when heading out the door in the morning. Like, what's a girl really to do besides throw in the towel and opt for a less stressful outfit when the weather's all over the place? Cue the look above: let's start there. I want to steal her style!

Just a quick steal her style feature today! I love this suede jacket trend, and paired with simple basics it creates such an easy, chic fall look.

Steal Her Style

I've been loving off-shoulder pieces lately, and I fell in love with this look when I saw Bradley in this blue top over on Luella and June. I got so excited when I found a very similar top for only a fraction of the price of hers! Don't you love when that happens?! She also has me dying to try a fun statement earring with a simple outfit, and I'm now even more eager for the weather to warm up so I can pull out my white jeans.

3 Kendall Jenner Looks to Copy Now

I am a huge Kendall Jenner fan. I mean, she's gorgeous and such a role model given all she's accomplished for being so young! I'm not a huge Kardashian fan in general, but I do totally admit that KUWTK is my guilty pleasure show on the weekends, and Kendall is for sure my favorite.

Like any model, Kendall's street style is so effortless that I want to steal her casual clothes right off her and wear them myself! How is it that she makes the comfiest outfits look so good?! Here are three easy Kendall Jenner looks you could copy right now:

Steal Her Style

Nothing says spring like stripes and scallops! Unfortunately, if the weather where you live is anything like here in Milwaukee, it definitely doesn't feel like spring outside (not yet, at least! I'm crossing my fingers it'll get here eventually) Something about February, too, makes me feel like it's also a bit early for all of the bright colors and pastel shades that the spring season often boasts. Today I've recreated a look I love, that I definitely wish was suitable for the current weather. Casual, comfy, and street style chic perfection, in my favorite combo of black and navy. I love the classic accessories in this ensemble too... that circle necklace has found it's way onto my current wish-list, and I love how the delicacy adds a touch of femininity to contrast the sporty sneaks and masculine watch. Don't be fooled though, the little diamonds on the watch are a gorgeous detail not to be missed.

Steal Her Style: Black + Navy

If there is one combo I love that I really wish I could pull off, it would probably be black and navy. The colors are staples enough to create almost a fanbase on either end, the #navyornothing die hard's vs. the chic and sophisticated all black everything clad fashionistas. However, I'm a fan of both black and navy, and I think the key to success (DJ Khaled snapchat reference) in styling the pieces together is to keep it simple and classic, pairing basics with tried and true silhouettes and accessories.

I love this ensemble of the dark sneaks adding a little pop of color, while the preppy coat dresses up the simple button down and black skinnies. The sneakers mixed with the coat really add a sophisticated feel to the cool, tomboyish look created by the shoes. I'm a fan.

Steal Her Style: Taylor Tomasi

steal her style

I saw this photo and a few similar snaps of Taylor Tomasi Hill on Pinterest and quickly became obsessed. My first thought, who is this redhead with amazing street style and why do I not know the answer to that question!

Taylor is just that, a fashion prodigy. She's basically just known for her incredibly street style, but, oh, she happens to work for Moda Operandi too. And... she's worked Marie Claire, Teen Vogue, and W Magazine in the past. This off the shoulder look worn last year at spring fashion week is amazing... shop my version below to recreate Taylor's impeccable style:

Steal Her Style: Colorblock Coat

I've never really been a coat person. I have a puffy winter coat for casual things, a cute duffle coat for when I want to look pulled together, and a dress coat for special occasions. In Wisconsin, coats are pretty practical considering half the population probably sleeps in one due to the negative temperatures and constant polar vortices. So, the thought of investing in a new coat may or may not be something that has always kind of sat in the back of my mind. Oh, and then I saw this colorblock coat...

Hmm... Did I mention it's $60? Yeah, you might want to look into that- you're welcome.

Steal Her Style: Interiors

When I first saw this image on Pinterest, I become obsessed. Not going to lie, it was definitely that shot of JFK that got me. Talk about a gallery wall... that picture alone makes more of a statement than any other combination I've seen! I found the source of this pic and entered a totally chic and cute blog, Barefoot Blonde. Umm, another blondie? I think we're long lost best friends. Amber and her precious baby are too cute, and her house is just fabulous on the side.

Her master bedroom is so gorgeous I just had to share it. I've attempted to recreate the look with a few pieces I found online...
