February 2024 Moodboard (Desktop & iPhone Wallpapers!)

Happy FEBRUARY! Who else felt like January lasted literally forever?! I didn't really mind, considering 2023 was a crazy year for me. It was really nice to slow down and kick off the new year in a relaxing tone, especially given that this year is about to pick up quickly! 

This month I am officially moving and celebrating four years with Joe! So crazy! I am going to miss my little apartment but excited for my next chapter in NYC. I am hosting a little Galentine's tonight to celebrate in my Soho apartment one last time, and I'm really looking forward to it, although I feel like it might send me into a spiral because I've truly loved living in this apartment and hosting friends so much over the past three years...

Anyway,  I am so excited to share the February moodboard with all of you! This is one of my favorites to make because it's always very pink because of Valentine's Day. I hope you love this one as much as I do!

Hellooo February! I feel like 2023 is off to a great start. January was full of fun little adventures in NYC with friends, and getting settled into the year. I feel like I was relatively good about setting new routines and setting myself up for success this year. Now that it's February first, I really feel like the year is kicking off for me. I'm spending a week in Dallas and a week in Telluride, CO (my first time there!) this month, and I'm so looking forward to both.

Of course this month we have Valentine's Day, so the Feb mood board is very pink! I tried to make it a bit more vintage-feeling and I love how it turned out.

This Week's Top 10

1. This week was a pretty standard workweek for me. Not much to report, but the highlight, of course, was the February mood board going up! If you're looking for a new desktop or iPhone wallpaper, download the mood board here.

2. This week I went to two Mile High Run Club classes, which has quickly become my favorite workout in the city. While I still love pilates at Bodyrok, there's something that feels so "my truth" about being on a treadmill just running for 45 minutes and being pushed to improve. It might have to do with the fact that I just haven't run consistently in so long, but nonetheless, the workout and the vibes are fabulous. I sign up through ClassPass! Valentine's Day Inspired: Pretty Pink Things

I got a targeted IG ad yesterday for the cutest matching set I've ever seen (for just $40!) and immediately ordered it. I don't think I've ever done that before, but this was too cute to pass up! It inspired this whole round-up of pretty pink pieces for Valentine's Day... whether these items end up as little gifts for yourself, your best friend, your girlfriend, your sister, or whomever else, I hope you find something you love!

It's a mood board miracle! LOL, truly, I don't think I've ever gotten the mood board up successfully on the first day of the month, but maybe things are looking up for me in 2022. I find the February mood board to be one of the easiest to make because, in my mind, my vision of February is clear... everything pink, flowers, and love!

Happy February!! Just me, or did January seem like the longest month ever?! I am looking forward to (hopefully) things getting a bit warmer this month, but it's not looking like it so far with all of the snow on the ground. Nonetheless, I am excited for a month full of pink, chocolate, and lovely vibes.

We all know I am a fan of anything and everything in any shade of pink, so few things spark more joy for me than this entirely pink mood board full of pretty pink things! Current Pink Loves / Valentine's Day Gift Guide

How is Valentine's Day one week from today!!! I feel like New Year's was just yesterday, but at the same time feels like a year ago already. I'm so disoriented these days I don't even know what's going on. Anyways, with Valentine's Day just a week away, I thought it would be fun to share some current pink things I am loving! I love anything pink, even though my day-to-day style incorporates strictly neutrals. SO, a holiday that's dedicated to pink and chocolate is right up my alley.

Happy Thursday! Exams are in full swing for me now; my first was yesterday, I have another today, two on Sunday (isn't that rude?!) and my last on Monday before I am done with half of my college career (!!!) and starting summer! This semester has been the most fun semester I've had at college so far and I can't even believe how happy I am with college at this point, especially in comparison to this time last year. Anyways, if you follow me on social media you might know I've been on a major pink kick lately. I can't wait to include more pink into my wardrobe this summer, especially because my current daily outfits consist 99% of neutral colors, like white tops, denim, and shades of blue.

Scalloped Cape and a Pink Wall

This $30 cape has become one of the most fun elements I've added to my wardrobe recently. I originally thought it would only be wearable around the holidays, but I've worn it to brunch with friends, with over the knee boots as I've styled here, and with black jeans and booties! It's surprisingly versatile and makes any outfit look more put together, especially with the gold buttons and scalloped hem.

What better way to kick off the month of February than with a Valentine's Day gift guide for the girls?! This year for Valentine's Day I really want to treat myself, my mom, and maybe even a few of my besties so I still feel like I'm celebrating! I love Valentine's Day and I have the best memories from my childhood celebrating the day dedicated to pink and chocolate, my two favorite things in the world! If you're new around here, you might not know I'm a chocoholic, or maybe you missed the pink stint on my Instagram feed a couple weeks ago. Either way, Valentine's Day is the perfect time to spoil yourself or the girl(s) in your life with all of the pink and all of the chocolate your heart desires.

The Pink Coat EVERYONE Needs

I usually do "This Week's Top 10" on Fridays, but because I haven't posted in a week I wanted to share a more "exciting" post today as we head into Christmas weekend! How did that happen?! Just a week ago I was freaking out about finals and now I'm freaking out about how I'm going to pack for Dallas, head to my best friend's birthday party tonight, shop for last-minute gifts, and make it to the airport all before 9 AM tomorrow.

Valentine's Day Gifts

I feel pretty indifferent towards Valentine's Day. For the most part, I think it's one of those holidays where people either love it or hate it... I feel like half of people think "it's so dumb, it's a hallmark holiday and it's pointless," and the other half really supports the idea of chocolates, wearing pink, getting gifts for the purpose of, well, not really any purpose, and celebrating a day for the fun of celebrating it. When I look at it that way, why not love Valentine's Day... if it means I can dress in pink and eat as much chocolate as I want with no shame, and get myself a little present just because, then whoever came up with the holiday really has their priorities in order, and I support it 100%.
