When it comes to getting dressed for class, I've been trying to look a little more put together this year in my business classes. Last year, I wore leggings and a big sweater the majority of the time because I was attending big lectures where I didn't know anyone and didn't really feel the need to make a good impression. This year, however, I've been using my business classes as a good excuse to get into the habit of looking presentable. This has resulted in little changes from leggings to more stylish jeans and tops instead of sweatshirts. Recently, a lot of my style inspiration has come from Street Style looks from fashion weeks throughout the months, and I thought it would be fun to share a few of my favorites and how they can easily be tweaked to be more class appropriate!

The Pink Coat EVERYONE Needs
12/22/17

I usually do "This Week's Top 10" on Fridays, but because I haven't posted in a week I wanted to share a more "exciting" post today as we head into Christmas weekend! How did that happen?! Just a week ago I was freaking out about finals and now I'm freaking out about how I'm going to pack for Dallas, head to my best friend's birthday party tonight, shop for last-minute gifts, and make it to the airport all before 9 AM tomorrow.

Fashion month is officially over. September, I can't thank you enough for sharing such incredible street style ensembles season after season. When it comes to the last four weeks of fashion week in New York, Paris, London, and Milan, the street style looks are never ending, and they most definitely never cease to amaze. Scrolling through the content on Vogue during the month of September is almost surreal that so many incredible and cool It girls can look that fabulous. Am I right, or am I right?!
The Shirtdress
5/25/16
After yesterday's Chicago recap I received a ton of questions about my shirtdress and shirt dresses in general for summer. I was never really a fan of the look until I found the one I wore in Chicago once I was actually already there, and since I was hot in my jeans I made the spontaneous decision to purchase the dress and wear it for the remainder of the day. I used to think shirt dresses were too "stuffy" or work-attire-esque, but since they are so popular right now there really are a ton of styles to suit almost anyone!
What are your thoughts on the shirtdress? I think these would all be so cute with sneakers or lace-up espadrilles or sandals to complete the look!

London Street Style
6/22/15
Now that I'm onto my third country/city/destination (current location: Paris), I've developed a good eye for tourists and locals and locals with amazing street style. London was honestly such a wonderful city and I couldn't have enjoyed the people watching more. The street style? Beautiful. Think: borrowed from the boys look with a tailored fit, and lots of skinny pants and pointy shoes.

Get That Look: Statement Clutch
3/17/15
This shot from some style genius out there in the world has been my life ever since I saw it and pinned it. Statement clutches are fabulous, and this outfit is basically my dream look for these warm months to come. I recreated the look right here:
blouse // shorts // sunglasses // clutch // bracelet // flats
I'm absolutely obsessed with these flats. I'm not sure if I can pull them off / how much wear I would get out of them, but they sure do seem to go well with a fun clutch and an all-white ensemble. The clutch in the original picture is perfection- pink and orange and aztec all over, what more could one want?! Unfortunately, I couldn't track down the source, but you can shop other fun clutches here:

What do you think of the accessory? I love how it adds a POC (pop of color) to a simple white outfit like above, and a fun touch to spice up any casual look.

PS- Happy St. Patrick's Day!
