Nantucket Edit

fran acciardo nantucket edit, summer wardrobe, packing wishlist

I'm heading back to Nantucket this weekend with some of my best friends, and I am beyond excited. Last year was my first trip to Nantucket, and I had the time of my life! I'm excited to head back with a bit of familiarity of the island and just have a fun girls weekend -- really, is there anything better?

I'm excited about what I'm packing this year and thought I'd share a round up of what's in my suitcase (like this dress, this striped sweater, and my favorite linen shorts) along with what I wish I was packing (like this basket bag that's currently 50% off and this chic backless swimsuit).

Hamptons Edit

I'm heading to the Hamptons with my family this weekend and I'm so excited! I've put together a fun edit of everything I wish was in my suitcase...

August is here, and this mood board is officially my favorite one I've ever done. It's a gloomy day in New York City, and I just put folklore on in the background and magically created this! It feels so fitting as it's my favorite month of the year, my birthday month, and the vibes are absolutely fabulous.

Joe is coming to visit this weekend, and then in just two weeks, I'm off to the southern coast of Turkey for a European beach vacation with one of my closest friends to celebrate my birthday! I am so excited for this month.

Hello and happy SUMMER! I hope you all had a lovely Memorial Day weekend relaxing and enjoying time with friends and family. Two of my very best friends Elizabeth and Coco visited me here in NYC for the long weekend and we had the best time. June is shaping up to be a busy month for me as I am heading to Martha's Vineyard this upcoming week, and then to Dallas for Father's Day / to see Joe because he moves there tomorrow!

I channeled all of the start-of-summer vibes for this month's mood board and I hope you love it as much as I do!

This Week's Top 10

1. Did this week fly by for anyone else? I was supposed to head back to NYC on Tuesday but wasn't quite ready to leave Wisconsin, so I bought a new flight home... I can't believe I finally head back to my apartment tomorrow after being gone for two weeks!

2. Taylor Hill's log cabin home tour was revealed on Arch Digest this week, and her Nashville home is easily the dreamiest space I've seen in a while.

3. Did any of you watch the Gossip Girl reboot premiere?! I don't know why for some reason I can't find myself interested at all, even though I *loved* the original GG.

June Mood Board (Desktop + iPhone Wallpapers!)

Happy June! I hope you all had a lovely and relaxing Memorial Day weekend! As I'm sure you're well aware if you follow me on social, I've kicked off summer on Martha's Vineyard. While the weather hasn't been ideal, it's been SO nice to take some time off work and start the season in a fabulous place. June, to me, means rosé season, choosing linen and wicker over anything else, and spending as much time outside as possible. I channeled those vibes to create the June mood board, and I hope you love it!

Perfect Pieces for the Start of Summer

It feels like just yesterday the sun was already set by 4pm, and I barely went outside for fear of hypothermia. But... somehow it's actually mid-May, and I couldn't happier! The sun is up at 8 PM these days and that is a sign that summer is upon us! I head back to New York this weekend, and then I am on Martha's Vineyard at the end of the month for Memorial Day. I am so excited about the warmer weather and some beach days ahead that I rounded up a ton of pieces perfect for this start of summer.

This Week's Top 10: Heading Up North

1. Did this week fly by for anyone else? I got drinks with two of my high school girlfriends on Wednesday and ordered an Aperol Spritz, which I hadn't had since Mexico last year. Um, I forgot how fabulous these are! They are officially going to be my thing for the rest of the summer. I ordered another one yesterday at a happy hour with my mom, and I've secured the ingredients to remake them this weekend-- I'm heading up north to Celia's cabin with my friend group! (photo above from her cabin last year; see this blog post for last year's up north recap!)

2. Yesterday, I popped into H&M to return something, and I picked up this bikini to bring up north this weekend. They have some great swimsuits right now at wonderful prices. I've been needing a new swimsuit, and I wanted to bring one this weekend that isn't super nice because we will be in a lake vs. a pool. It's really flattering and comfy! I also love this suit from H&M but didn't see it in my store.

3. Thank you to everyone who voted in the phone case IG poll this week! I am getting a new phone next week (iPhone 11 probably! V excited to see what the face unlock and dual-camera are all about) and have decided on this phone case with the color combo "X".

My Favorite SPF Products for Face

I posted on IG stories last week asking if you'd like me to review some of my go-to face products with SPF, and I was shocked at how many of you said yes! I know for me, SPF has been extra important lately, but I sort of thought I was late to the game and everyone else had already figured out their favorite products... guess not, lol! I am so excited to share these with you. They are summer game-changers for me!

Rosé Picnic: 9 Rosé Reviews + Recommendations

A week ago today, a few of my high school girlfriends and I decided to have a little picnic in the park and try a few different bottles of rosé! I've written a mini-review of each of them below, along with reviews of a handful of other rosés I've tried this summer! I have no expertise in wine reviews, so please take all of these with a grain of salt... haha. I simply based my thoughts on how much I enjoyed each bottle.

This Week's Top 10

1. Happy Fourth of July weekend! I am so grateful to be in the Hamptons with my family and really looking forward to a relaxing weekend by the pool (crossing my fingers that it stops raining for the next few days!)

2. Just because normal content has resumed doesn't mean that the BLM movement is any less important! I found this article on sustaining allyship so informative and educational.

3. These Fourth of July cocktails look amazing.... red, white, and buzzed am I right? Lol

June Favorites

Wow... I can't believe it's July. In fact, it didn't even really register in my mind until last night when I looked at my phone and was like... wait what? it's July 1? So, here's everything I loved last month...

Fourth of July Inspiration

I'm so excited to spend the Fourth of July in the Hamptons this year! While I've already packed my suitcase, I had fun rounding up a few pretty red, white, and blue pieces to curate this round-up. I love the Fourth of July because my entire wardrobe is essentially white and blue, so getting dressed for the day is a fun way for me to wear my favorite pieces in my wardrobe!

What I'm Packing for Rhode Island + The Hamptons

I leave Sunday morning for a two-week trip to see my extended family, and I am so excited to be back in Boston, Rhode Island, and the Hamptons for a little bit. I am so looking forward to seeing my dad and all of my family on his side, and I'm kind of excited about what I'm packing too, so I thought I'd share a peak into my suitcase!

Summer Book Reviews (Part II)

I promise I didn't forget about this post! This is long overdue but I am back to share the second installment of what I've read this summer. If you missed the first one, you can check it out here!

What I Did in July

Oh wow. Last month was insane. I did so much that the entire month is already blurring together. I apologize in advance if this isn't the most interesting post! I just want to recap my month for future reference.

I Miss Newport... + Packing List

I'M SEEING THE ROLLING STONES TONIGHT! I am so insanely excited!! My dad and I are seeing the Stone tonight in Chicago because he got me tickets for Christmas... ahhh, I can't wait to share more! Anyways-- onto today's post:

Every summer I find myself succumbing to a seasonal longing for my favorite place in the world: Newport, Rhode Island. If you've been a longtime reader, you're probably no stranger to my Newport obsession! I have visited Newport almost every summer of my life, and my dad even lived there when I was in high school! I am half convinced I'll get married at the Chanler on the Cliff Walk, where I took my senior photos (that I'll never not be obsessed with, thus had to include in this post)... ugh, it's just the best place.

Summer Book Reviews (Part I)

I'm excited to share the books I've read so far this summer. If you're a longtime reader, you might remember a few of the summer reading posts I shared last summer, including this one and this one. This summer's selections probably won't be much different, consisting majorly of beach reads and light fiction, but nonetheless hopefully you will find some of these books appealing!

A Week Up North

The first week of summer (aka the second week of May), my friends and I drove over four hours up north Wisconsin to my roommate, Celia's, family cabin. The group included all but one of our friends who went on our spring break trip to Mexico, and it was such a fun way to kick off the summer! Although it was a few weeks ago now, it was just too fun not to share some photos from the week.

Announcing My Summer Internship

Two weeks from today I will be starting my summer internship! I have been meaning to sit down and write this post for a while, but for some reason I've been putting it off. This will be my third and likely, (if I'm lucky enough to get a job offer at the end of my senior year!) last summer internship. I am going to be a Business Analyst intern at Kohl's Corporate Headquarters in Milwaukee!
