Spring Dress Round-Up

Being in college, I always forget how many new dresses I used to "need" each spring in high school. Last year I went to my fair share of date parties and formals being in a sorority and having a handful of guy friends in fraternities, but it's not really the same when you live in a dorm and have 30 sorority sisters with dresses to borrow at a moment's notice! This year I am in the market for a pretty dress to wear in London on Easter Sunday, but I've already started getting a few questions from girls looking for prom dresses, wedding guest dresses (jealous!) and other fun events coming this spring. Although this round-up of dresses is majority geared towards Easter frocks, I plan to do another installment of dresses suitable for prom or fancier events later this week or next!

This Week's Top 10

1. I had an extremely low-key week, and I'm kind of okay with it. I was recovering all week from how sick I got in New York, so I broke my New Year's goal to workout and skipped everyday... oops. There's always next week though!

2. On a similar note, I rarely talk about body positivity on the blog, but it's something I've wanted to include more of since fitness has become a larger focus around here. If you missed it, I shared an exciting campaign I'll be working on for the next few months yesterday on Instagram.

3. I just ordered this camel coat yesterday for London, and it's an amazing deal if you're looking for a classic coat to transition you into spring! It also comes in a gorgeous baby blue and pale pink.

Resort/Spring Shopping: Volume I

London is no Miami, but I'm not complaining. I spent last year in Miami for half of my spring break, and if you remember how bad my sunburn was, you'll be very understanding why I'm not too upset about skipping out on the beach break scene this time around. I'm not necessarily bikini-bod ready anyways, so this trip to cooler temps is looking better and better everyday. Nonetheless, springtime is always fun to explore all that newly available resort wear. Today I'm sharing a few pieces I've fallen in love with recently if you're heading somewhere warmer anytime soon.

Ear Party Inspiration

For the last couple of months I have really been itching to get more ear piercings. When I was a senior in high school, one of my close friends gave me a double piercing when we were all hanging out having a girls night. I ended up letting it close a few months later because I didn't like the position of the piercing, but lately I have been thinking more and more seriously about not only repiercing my double, but doing triple or quadruple piercings on my left ear!

Spring Break Destination Reveal

Happy Monday! I took last week off of blogging to recover from a horrible cold I caught while in New York two weekends ago. I spent this weekend at home relaxing and hanging out with my mom, and I am finally feeling a little bit better. There aren't many things that make you feel more drained than a post-vacation slump combined with a bad cold, nasty cough, and tons of homework on top. I am recovering mentally however with my sights set on spring break! Guess where I'm headed?!

20 Things on My Wishlist

I'm just popping in today to share 20 things I'm loving right now! I am heading to New York this weekend with my best friend, Lauren, and what better way to plan outfits than to do a little online shopping?!

What's on your wishlist?
xoxo

Scalloped Cape and a Pink Wall

This $30 cape has become one of the most fun elements I've added to my wardrobe recently. I originally thought it would only be wearable around the holidays, but I've worn it to brunch with friends, with over the knee boots as I've styled here, and with black jeans and booties! It's surprisingly versatile and makes any outfit look more put together, especially with the gold buttons and scalloped hem.

Valentine's Day Gift Guide for Her (or Yourself!)

you can click the product to shop directly from the collage!

What better way to kick off the month of February than with a Valentine's Day gift guide for the girls?! This year for Valentine's Day I really want to treat myself, my mom, and maybe even a few of my besties so I still feel like I'm celebrating! I love Valentine's Day and I have the best memories from my childhood celebrating the day dedicated to pink and chocolate, my two favorite things in the world! If you're new around here, you might not know I'm a chocoholic, or maybe you missed the pink stint on my Instagram feed a couple weeks ago. Either way, Valentine's Day is the perfect time to spoil yourself or the girl(s) in your life with all of the pink and all of the chocolate your heart desires.
