It's my favorite month of the year!! Happy August! My birthday month is here and it's going to be a good one. July will be hard to top (I can't believe I actually got engaged!!!), but this month we have a ton of travel to look forward to, which I always love: two weddings across the country, trips back to Wisconsin, and a return to Napa Valley... it's going to be busy, but so fun.

We're Engaged!

A little over two weeks ago, Joe got down on one knee and proposed!

I shared the whole story in a video here of how it all went down, and in my video, it was really just a fact-based recollection of what happened.

But I've had this blog for half my life, and something I really wanted to do was sit down and capture not just what happened, but how it felt, and what it all means to me.

Let's start at the very beginning!

Everything I Wore On Nantucket

I returned from my annual Nantucket trip last week! It's always the best weekend of the year with some of my favorite girlies. I love Nantucket so much and I feel so grateful every summer to get back to such a gorgeous, special, fabulous place. 

I thought I'd do a quick round-up of my outfits here; it's always the easiest trip to pack for because Nantucket is exactly what my wardrobe is built for: casual, warm days, and cute, coastal evenings. Here we go!

Happy July! Summer is officially in full swing. I just returned from an amazing 10-day trip to Chicago and Nantucket with my besties, NYC is coming off a high from the Knicks championship, and Fourth of July is right around the corner. I am so excited for the rest of this summer!

The Monthly Moodboard: June 2026 Desktop & iPhone Wallpapers

YOU GUYS. Happy June!!! I’m so sorry for the delay in getting the moodboard up; I have had the busiest few weeks! Following Memorial Day weekend, I went down to Nashville for one of my friend's bachelorette parties. It’s my first time being a bridesmaid, and we had the best weekend! Nashville is seriously so fun.

I returned home last Sunday and had to head into the office this whole week for work. I actually ended up booking a last-minute work trip to LA next week, and while I am very excited because this is only my second work trip ever, it means that I’m missing game four of the Knicks in the playoffs… if you’ve been following over the past year, my friends and I absolutely love watching the Knicks games here in New York and they are making history going to the playoffs for the first time in 53 years. If they win game three and four on Monday and Wednesday, I’m literally going to miss it and I am freaking out! I’m rooting for them to win in five!!

Anyway, I’m very excited for this month. In addition to the Knicks in the playoffs, I’m going to see Morgan Wallen in a couple weeks and I’m beyond excited. I’m also heading to Nantucket later this month which of course I absolutely cannot wait for.

 Happy May! I landed in Chicago last night for my annual girls' weekend to celebrate my best friend Elizabeth's birthday. I am so excited to see some of my fave girlies, and spend the weekend here. Coming up next weekend, my mom will be in NYC for Mother's Day, and then Joe and I are heading to Rhode Island the following weekend for our half marathon! May is shaping up to be a very, very fun month and I am so excited. All we need now is the weather to warm up!!

 Happy April! I was so surprised to see so many kind comments on last month's moodboard post; I honestly had no idea how many of you check the blog still, and it was really so sweet and encouraging to see. I know I post so rarely on here now, really just the moodboarrds these days, so I truly appreciate those of you that still check in and follow along. Okay, tbh, I wasn't going to post a moodboard this month - I thought March's moodboard last year was great, and it has a photo of JFK Jr and CBK, so it's really 2026-coded (who else is watching Love Story?!). I also felt like no one has been caring about the moodboard lately, so I got discouraged. But, after many sweet comments and DMs, I just couldn't skip this month - thank you!

 Happy February! First month of 2026, check!

I am so excited for this month; I head out west this week for two weeks of skiing in Colorado and Utah! I am very excited to escape the zero-degree temps in NYC and get back on the slopes. Joe and I will celebrate Valentine's Day and our sixth anniversary (omg!) at the end of the month when I get back!

2025 Recap!!!

I love recapping my years on here. I write so few blog posts now in comparison to high school and college, but there are a few things that are still sacred to me: annual recaps, travel recaps, the moodboard... things like that. Sometimes I wonder if I should be writing more blog posts, not so much for other people anymore, but just for myself. The last few years have truly been some of the most wonderful years, and one day I might want to look back on these posts and reminisce about how fun, how fabulous, how lucky I was to spend my 20s in New York. 

Anyway, at the very least, I want to recap my 2025 now at a high-level. I love to look back on the highlights, the travels, and the key milestones of the year. 

The Monthly Moodboard: January 2026 Desktop & iPhone Wallpapers

Hello, 2026! I am so excited for this year. I'll do a proper recap of 2025 in a separate post, but for now I am enjoying getting inspired for 2026 and thinking about what I want to accomplish and experience this year. The past two weeks have been so lovely, celebrating Christmas with family, New Years with Joe, and not having to work much. We've just been watching lots of Landman (soo good - it's on Paramount Plus; it reminds me a little of Yellowstone!), reading, cleaning out our closets, and cooking at home.

December is here! What a year it's been; from a handful of ski trips to kick off 2025, to a fun spring in the city cheering on the Knicks, back to Nantucket, Newport and Italy this summer, and a lovely fall back in the city, it was another wonderful year.

 I am feeling so grateful for another year of health, fun travels, my job, and this community - coming off the heels of Thanksgiving last week, I want to say an extra thank you to all of you who support on IG, click and shop my links, and of course, download and share the moodboard every month. Happy November! What a fun October it was: a fall trip upstate, the annual Frantumnal escape to my aunt's house, and so many fun memories with friends. This weekend we dressed up for Halloween (Pink Panther and Inspector Clouseau!) and had a fun dinner party last night. Tonight we're heading to a party for our friend who ran the NYC marathon, too! October 2025 Moodboard (Desktop & iPhone Wallpapers!)

Good morning to my favorite month of the year! I say this every year -- how is it October? With the US Open, NYC ballet, a trip to see my mom, and a couple concerts, September just flew by! But I am so excited for fall here in NYC; this is my absolute favorite time of year. I love the foliage, a big sweater, jeans + ballet flats, and of course, a pumpkin coffee. Ugh, I'm just so excited.

My best friend Elizabeth is visiting me here in NYC this weekend, and then next weekend I'm so excited to head up to Hudson for a cozy fall weekend! In between I'm hoping to enjoy a few more Central Park walks, and planning to pull out all of my sweaters as soon as it cools down.

48 Hours in Porto

I can't believe it's been a month since we got back from our Europe trip! After my family trip to Puglia, Joe and I spent a few days in Portugal. Neither of us had been before, and we loved it! We spent 48 hours in Porto, and a few days in Lisbon. We absolutely loved Porto; it deserves a proper recap!

Better late than never, right?! August was such a fun month - from Italy, to Portugal, to my birthday, Nantucket, and a wedding over Labor Day weekend, it was a busy, fun, fabulous month. I'm always sad for my birthday month to come to a close, but fall in NYC is my favorite, and I'm so ready to be done with the hot weather.

September will be a fun one; I am going to the US Open for the very first time tonight, visiting my mom for her birthday later this month, and I'm very much looking forward to getting back into a routine here in the city as well.
