 Happy May! I landed in Chicago last night for my annual girls' weekend to celebrate my best friend Elizabeth's birthday. I am so excited to see some of my fave girlies, and spend the weekend here. Coming up next weekend, my mom will be in NYC for Mother's Day, and then Joe and I are heading to Rhode Island the following weekend for our half marathon! May is shaping up to be a very, very fun month and I am so excited. All we need now is the weather to warm up!!

Happy May!! It is finally feeling like spring here in NYC: warmer temps, flowers everywhere, and iced coffee everyday. I just got back from the best weekend in Chicago with my besties, and I'm excited for some family time in the Hamptons this month, a lot of busy workdays on my new project, and many opportunities to wear my ballet flats.

Happy May! I am heading back to NYC from Chicago today after such a fun weekend with my besties - so excited that it is truly feeling like spring and that summer is just around the corner! I absolutely love visiting Chicago every spring, it's so gorgeous here in Lincoln Park where my friends live, and it's fun to see my brother as well; we went for a ride on his motorcycle last night, got pizza, and hung out... it was lovely! I just love it here (when it's not freezing!) :)

Happy May, Happy Met Gala Day, and happy mood board day! I've extended my trip here in Chicago since I had such a great time this weekend with my girlies celebrating our bestie Elizabeth's birthday. We plan to watch the Met coverage tonight before I head home tomorrow! April was a wonderful month, with trips to Paris, Dallas, upstate New York, and Chicago, but May is going to be one for the books as well with the Taylor Swift Era's tour in Nashville next week, and then (!!!) my trip with Joe to Italy for 10 days!!!!

How is it already October?! I know I say this every month, but time is flying by. I had two weddings in September and between those weekends out of town and Joe in NYC for a weekend, it was such a quick, fun month. Yesterday I spent the first day of the month cleaning my apartment, baking, cultivating fall vibes with a pumpkin candle and a fall flower arrangement, and watching Gilmore Girls, of course.

May is here!! This mood board is one of my favorites I've made in a while... this month just feels so exciting; I will be traveling quite a bit, for Mother's Day and then to a wedding, and I just feel so excited and happy about the warmer spring weather as well.
