What To Get Your Boyfriend for Valentine's Day

I'm kind of excited for Valentine's Day this year for a different reason. I plan to go out with my girlfriends since I won't be celebrating it for the first time in three years (if you catch my drift here, that was a pretty big life update!). Nonetheless, I have quite a few gift ideas up my sleeve if you're stressed about what to get your boy toy for Valentine's Day in a few weeks.

Gift Guides for Dad, Boyfriend, and Brother

I apologize that this post is going up a little later than usual! I originally had planned to come home for Thanksgiving this afternoon, but spontaneously decided to head home last night instead to celebrate my best friend's birthday. Suffice it to say I didn't get it together in time to have this post scheduled for this morning, but I have finished it up now and I'm excited to share three gift guides for the guys! Specifically, one each for dads, boyfriends, and brothers. Personally, I love shopping for guys, and all of the gifts you'll find below are items that I have either given in the past, plan to give this year, or know that my dad/boyfriend/brother loves and uses it already.

Gift Guide for Guys: Dad, Boyfriend, & Brother

Okay, now this is gonna be good. How many times have you seen a gift guide for guys, but you read it and you're just like, "none of this is going to work for 'him'"? Because, same. When I think of the "guys" I have to shop for, I think of my Dad, brother, and boyfriend, and even occasionally I think of my grandpa (but admittedly, my mom takes care of that one). So, suffice it to say that one gift guide for all three of those guys just won't do!

Gift Guide: Guys

You might think I'm crazy when I say this, but I think guys are so easy to shop for. Unlike girls, where we are picky and particular, guys are so low-key. Get your brother, dad, boyfriend, best guy friend, cousin, or whomever something cozy and classic that he will actually get a little use out of, and your gift is golden. I've gathered up a few things below that are favorites among the guys in my life, so they're sure to be successful options for whoever you're shopping for.

Choices

I'm taking economics this semester and my teacher keeps stressing the importance of understanding that every single thing you do is a choice. You had the choice to read this blog post, I had the choice to write it. I had the choice to eat my dinner and do my homework last night. Everything is a choice and the benefits must outweigh the cost. That's that hardest part.

This weekend I am invited on a field hockey tournament in St. Louis. This weekend I also got asked out on a date... kind of. I actually couldn't tell you if it's a date or not because I really have no idea. Do I make the choice to go to the tournament, better myself at a sport I love, and bond with teammates? Or do I make the choice to hang out with a super cute boy that I've been talking to a lot lately? The benefits must outweigh the cost of every choice. By choosing one thing to do this weekend, it'll cost me the other option. There's always next year for the tournament or next weekend to hang out with the boy. But will I get a lot of playing time on this tournament? But what if one of my friends also likes this boy?

How do you go about making your choices?
xoxo
