Gift Guide for Guys: Dad, Boyfriend, & Brother

Okay, now this is gonna be good. How many times have you seen a gift guide for guys, but you read it and you're just like, "none of this is going to work for 'him'"? Because, same. When I think of the "guys" I have to shop for, I think of my Dad, brother, and boyfriend, and even occasionally I think of my grandpa (but admittedly, my mom takes care of that one). So, suffice it to say that one gift guide for all three of those guys just won't do!

Getting Cozy For the Holidays

Now that it's November, I feel like the time to break out festive furs and fair isles is really here. To me, because it's cold in Wisconsin for such a big part of the year, my cold-weather wardrobe is sectioned off into more-mini seasons... like gingham and fall colors in October, plaids and fur in November, sequins and tartan in December, etc. At least that's sort of my mindset!

As we start to transition from the quintessential "fall" season into the holidays, I had a little fun pulling some pieces from holiday collections that I wish I could add to my wardrobe right now!! I saw those Santa mugs at Target over the weekend and I'd be lying if I didn't admit they totally got me in the mood for the holiday season; it's not too early, is it?! Don't even get me started on the Peanuts and PB Teen collaboration... the pajamas could not be any cuter. A few plaid wraps, some festive sweaters and touches of fur, and what more could you need!

This whole moving thing has gotten me into such a whirlwind of interior design fantasies and has left me itching to add a few fun pieces to my room to make it the best version possible. Some easy ways to make your desk sparkle? Add fun and bright accessories like a colorful stapler, a chic pencil cup, or practical-but-cute storage bins and a lamp. Want to make the whole room a little cozier? Add a rug, toss a cute pillow on your bed, hang your favorite quote on the wall and light up your favorite scent. There are so many easy ways to make your room a little more "you" without having to restyle the whole scene.
