Summer Bucket List

summer bucket list 2018

This summer feels like the first one ever where I have few plans in terms of vacations and things that I'm doing in general. In addition to my internship, most of my "plans" consist of coming home to read my book or go on a run. I'm not kidding, my life right now isn't boring, but nothing too thrilling is going on. I am going to West Palm Beach for my birthday at the end of August, but other than that I have no plans! I am considering flying out to New York later this month or next because I usually go every summer, but nothing is set in stone.

This Week's Top 10: Winter Bucket List

How is it already December?! The weather here has been super mild, in the 50s everyday, so it's hard to believe we're expecting snow, or rather, Christmastime anytime soon. To attempt to get in the holiday spirit despite the warmer weather and my later exam schedule this year (I'm at school until the 21st!), I thought it would be fun to create a winter bucket list that hopefully you can all use too! I realistically won't be able to do all of this during this month because I'll mostly be at school and then I'm heading straight to Dallas for Christmas, but throughout winter break I'm hoping to cross off a few of these items from the list.

College Freshman Bucket List

For my final college collaborative post with Caroline, Renee and Nicole, I'm excited to share my bucket list for freshman year! I've heard of so many fun and unique Lehigh traditions, as well as typical college experiences, and I definitely want to take full advantage of as many cool opportunities  as I can.

I've always envisioned myself in a sorority, and I'm really excited to rush second semester! I think it'll be a great way to make even more friends, be social, and be a part of a really cool network. I definitely want to visit a few of my other friends at different schools, as well as explore my own school by taking a peek into each building, swimming in one of fountains at Lehigh, and befriending someone totally new! Colleges are so diverse and I really want to try to branch out as much as possible.

Lehigh also has a really cool tradition called "Le-Laf" week, which is basically a whole spirit week leading up to the Lehigh vs Lafayette football game, which is one of the biggest and oldest college football rivalry's out there! I really want to make it to the big game and see if it exceeds the hype ;)

What is/was on your college freshman bucket list? Anything I need to add?

Make sure to check out CarolineRenee and Nicole's lists too! It was so fun collaborating with them this week.

Summer Bucket List

This weekend was the first time that it really hit me that it's summer. I spent all day Saturday having a picnic at the beach, Saturday night Carin and I went to watch the bike races and stopped at a music festival, and yesterday I went to Strawberry fest and went on a hike. It just hit me though how little time I have left to soak it all in, and I want to make the most of this summer!

In the spirit of going cliff jumping today (!!!), I wanted to share a few more fun things I hope to do this summer:

I've already crossed some things off, so those few adventures didn't make the cut... like riding out of the top of Carin's Jeep (so fun having people watch in amazement as you cruise by), blasting country music everywhere I go, hitting the beach, going on hikes, making s'mores and having a bonfire, etc.

I even booked a fun weekend trip with one of my best friends coming soon, and Summerfest starts this week. I'm especially excited for today in particular because I'm going cliff jumping with my boyfriend at this really cool park a couple hours away. We went hiking there back in February, but it'll be super fun to cliff jump and see the park in the summer.

What's on your summer bucket list?
xoxo

Winter Break Cozy Outfit + Bucket List Collab

Can you believe Christmas is only a few days away? As per usual, the season has gone by so fast. I am flying out to Rhode Island today, and I'll be spending Christmas with my Dad's family in Boston. After, I am so excited to spend a few days in New York before returning in time for New Years! Ever since the cookie exchange, I have been devouring cookies like crazy (they're all so good!) and since my exams ended last Friday, I've been loving my time to do nothing but just relax and hang out with my friends.
