Girls' Night: Apple Picking Recap

On Tuesday night, three of my best high school friends and I went apple picking after work and had the best time. We picked apples, took photos (duh), and got tacos + margs after for dinner! I am so excited to share these photos with you -- it was such a fun night and I love how we captured it!

The weather was incredible -- literally 70 degrees and sunny, and we went a little after 5 PM so it was a perfect golden hour! We went to Barthel's in Mequon and then Corazon at the Mequon public market for dinner. At Barthel's we each got a half dozen apple cider donuts to take home, and the girls also got a ton of apples and a few pumpkins! Since I already picked apples and pumpkins last weekend all I needed was a donut refill ;)

If you've never been to Corazon, by the way, they have a few locations in the Milwaukee area and it is truly some of the best Mexican food in the city. They have a killer jalapeño marg, the biggest tostadas you've ever seen (that's what I ordered for dinner and I could only eat one of the two... I brought the other home and had it last night!), and they even have vegan options!

But more about Barthel's -- it's really beautiful. I've heard of it before but had never been. They have apples and pears to pick, the bakery, pumpkins... it's fabulous. The girl working happened to be a senior at the high school the four of us went to, so that was a cute coincidence, too!

Anna has her own blog, too! Check her out on Instagram here.

I wore this sweater dress from Target. It's really straight/plain, so I added a tie from a random top to make a little belt! I paired it with an old Zara wide-brim hat (similar here and here) and my go-to Madewell suede ankle booties

Overall, it was such a fun, fall night. Who knew a Tuesday during the workweek could be so eventful?! I am so grateful to have some of my best friends still in town with me and that we have remained so close from high school!

Have you gone apple picking yet this season?
xoxo

  2. Crude apple cider vinegar is best bought from wellbeing food stores as opposed to supermarkets. This is on the grounds that the vinegar sold for cooking is of a lower quality than the vinegar made for utilization as a wellbeing supplement. https://myapplecidervinegarreview.blogspot.com/
