A Grain of Salt for 2017

When I started to think about how I wanted to recap this year in a blog post I looked through past reflections to get some inspiration. Reading through last year's post on the year was really wild. I had the craziest year from graduating high school, to starting college, to hating where I was at and completely not knowing what was in store for me this year. I set a major goal for myself to try to whatever it would take to make myself the happiest as possible, and I have to admit, that may have been a little too ambitious.

My Transfer Experience | VLOG

It's a big day over here!!! I have decided to share my full transfer "experience" and why I decided to transfer colleges in a video! I have to admit I am a little nervous to share this just because I don't love hearing/watching myself talk on camera, but hopefully you'll all enjoy the video and not think I'm too weird :) Hopefully I didn't ramble on too much and my words actually make sense to you guys! Like I mention in the video, I have been receiving so many questions lately on why I transferred, how I knew I wanted to, and how things have been at my new school, so I just thought it made the most sense to really explain the topic in a video since it's a bit of a long story.

Transitioning Jackets from Fall to Winter

Living in Wisconsin, I've become a pro when it comes to dressing for the cold. Finding cute jackets that actually keep you warm? Check. Snow boots that don't look like they'd fit a potato better than your real foot? Check. Today I'm sharing a few ways to transition your fall jackets into winter coats because sadly, it's already getting a little cold out for some of us.

Your cool military jacket you wore to the haunted house, pumpkin patch, and even apple picking doesn't have to be your only outwear with a little flair. When opting for something warmer later this seasons, try a duffle or toggle coat, maybe even with a funky fur hood if you're feeling it.

All those brisk fall days where you just needed a vest might be long gone, but add some sleeves and you've got yourself a pretty cute, casual parka for winter.

How do you transition your outerwear from fall to winter?
