Happy Friday! Yet another month has flown by and, as always, I can't believe it! This weekend I'm looking forward to heading to the Yankees game tonight, brunch plans tomorrow, and then hopefully just reading and relaxing. I've gotten into a really good routine lately with my kindle (more on that below) and pilates classes, and I feel so at peace. Read on for 10 things I loved this week!

1. Ok, so the Kindle - I am so happy with it. I'll write a full blog post on it soon, but it solves my previous problems of (1) poor lighting while reading, (2) difficulty finding a position on my side that works with both sides of a book (like when I'm laying in bed), and (3) not having immediate access to the books I want to read. I could go on and on about it but I'll say if you're on the fence, you have to at least order and try one! I really didn't think I was going to love it, at least not as much as I do now, but I was completely converted after my first book!

2. Last week I read Every Summer After and Girls with Bright Futures, both of which I thoroughly enjoyed and gave 5/5 stars. Ok well actually, both of them I give 4.75 stars because I thought they should have been longer!!!

Every Summer After is a pretty similar concept to The Summer I Turned Pretty, but with adults; a classic beach-read romance!

Girls with Bright Futures is about three moms whose daughters all want to get into Stanford, and all of the college admissions dramas and scandals that go on during their senior year after it's discovered there's only one spot! I feel like I'm always either reading a romance or a thriller, so I love it when I enjoy a book about something else. I absolutely loved this! So entertaining.

2. I found this gorgeous dress this week and can not believe it's barely $100! It's so comfortable and the colors & pattern are beautiful. I wore it the other night to happy hour and dinner in the city (it's been so hot here!) and it was perfect; I can't wait to wear it in Turkey in August, too!

3. Speaking of dinner, I have recently tried two spots in the city that I absolutely loved: Daddies, and Sel Rrose.

Daddie's Pizza is a new spot in the West Village by the same owners as Lil Frankie's! It's much smaller, BYOB, and cash only, but the menu is really similar and I prefer the WV location over the LES. I went a couple of weekends ago and it was absolutely outstanding. We brought along this delicious bottle of orange wine which perfectly paired with the prosciutto pizza and spaghetti Limone on a hot night! We walked in without a reservation on a Friday and had no problem getting a table.

Sel Rrose is an oyster bar off Bowery and Delancey, and it has great cocktails at a cool, grungy spot. They apparently have a great happy hour, but I went a bit later around dinner time. The music is great and I feel like it could be a good pregame spot or late-night drink spot as well. We went on a Wednesday without a reservation, sat at the bar, had a couple of cocktails and a lobster roll with truffle fries, and the vibes were immaculate.

4. This week I made these Turkey Feta Meatballs and used them in Meditteranean bowls for lunches and dinners. I'd highly recommend this recipe! They turned out delicious, they're healthy, and the recipe is super easy. I reheated them in my air fryer and paired them with tzatziki, spicy hummus, chopped veggies like tomatoes, kalamata olives, pickles, pickled onions, all on top of spring mix and brown rice!

5. Ok moving on to some shopping picks! I was picking out some pieces from Sezane this week and fell in love with so many things. I ordered this dress and this dress (which I plan to wear as a coverup!) but I also love this little top, this romper, and this shirt

6. Another cover-up I love: this under $30 linen cover-up that comes in a ton of cute colors (I especially love it in the white, light blue, and light pink!)

7. One of my best friends from high school, Lauren, just moved to the city yesterday! I picked up this incredible DS & Durga candle at their Nolita store yesterday as a housewarming gift. It's a limited edition and couldn't smell better... would highly recommend it!

8. My hair tool that I love and swear by is 20% off until Sunday! It gives me a perfect, bouncy blowout every time in literally 10 minutes -- see how I do it on Tik Tok here!

9. I found this $10 candle last weekend and I can't get enough! It is so peaceful.

10. Lastly, I'll leave you with my favorite glow drops + blush, been swearing by these two products lately for perfect summer glowy skin -- see my current makeup routine on tik tok here!

Hope you all have a fabulous weekend

xoxo
