This Week's Top 10: Easter Weekend

image via

1. Happy Friday and Easter weekend! It's been a minute since I shared a TWT10, so I have a lot to fill you in on!!!

2. I am home in Milwaukee this weekend for Easter and really enjoying it so far. This summer I interned with my close friend Koryn, who's boyfriend is in a great band in Milwaukee, so I went to their show last night. Koryn is an amazing photographer and took some of my best photos this summer (like these, these, and these!)! I am so glad I got to catch up with her! The show was at the cutest venue and I had a great time.

3. One of my roommates (hi Coco!) and our friend who took us on spring break in Mexico are both coming over for Easter on Sunday. I'm so excited! My brother is also coming home for Easter and I can't wait to celebrate with him, my mom, and friends. I mentioned in my Easter outfit inspiration blog post this week that I will be wearing this dress!

4. Hozier's new album came out March 1st and I still haven't stopped listening to it. He is coming to Milwaukee at the end of May, but the show is completely sold out and I am so, so sad!!! Hozier is one of my favorite artists (and has been since like sophomore year of high school-- aka 2014!) and I am dying to find tickets somehow. My favorite song by far is "Nobody." Do you have a favorite on this album?

5. Unlike the typical "tips to get healthier" posts, this one actually really inspired me! I feel like I have been so unhealthy lately in terms of eating healthfully and not working out that much in the last couple of weeks. I know it's because I've been going out more than I probably should be and I'm constantly so tired and lazy, so I really want to work on getting back on track at least a little bit before finals.

6. My 21st birthday is at the end of August, and I'm already starting to plan out how I want to celebrate! I usually alternate celebrating my birthday with each of my parents, so this year I am excited to head (hopefully!) to Napa with my mom. My 18th was spent in Maine with my dad (I realized I never wrote a formal recap on this trip and I am so, so sad!!! This was likely my favorite trip of all time), 19th at home with my mom, and 20th this past year in Palm Beach with my dad

The original plan for this year was to head to Ireland and Scotland, but I would much prefer Napa for a girl's trip, and I have another trip in August that might make a European excursion a little overwhelming right before school.

7. Allie's blog is a little new to me, but I am a huge fan after reading her inspiring (and very eye-opening) post about knowing your worth, especially when it comes to being a blogger and influencer on social media. (the image above is from her blog! her photography is gorgeous!)

8. I am finishing up "The Opposite of Loneliness" right now, which is a collection of short stories and essays by Marina Keegan. The stories are beautiful and the story behind the collection is so bittersweet... Marina had just graduated from Yale in 2012 when she died in car crash and her family and professors had her works published in this book. She was an incredibly talented writer and I would recommend this to anyone!

9. The Ralph Lauren friends + family sale (that means 30% off everything!) is still on through Sunday night. I shared my favorites in this post this week.

10. Also on the blog this week: the easiest (and insanely delicious!) aioli recipe and hair accessories I love right now. It felt amazing to finally publish a few blog posts this week after being really inconsistent for the majority of this year so far. Like I mentioned above, I've just been so lazy recently and I hate feeling like this! I feel so much better when I am productive and active, so I am going to continue to try very hard to be more present!

As always, thank you for stopping by! Happy Easter to all who are celebrating!
