Cozy Sweater for Class

The weather finally feels like the Octobers I know and love in Wisconsin. I wore almost this exact outfit to class yesterday and felt actually a little bit chilly in just a sweater! My ideal temperature for fall weather is mid-50s and I am so pleased to say we have finally, finally reached that point!! I love just putting on a comfy, cozy, soft sweater with leggings for class so I can look cute but still feel like I can jump right back in bed when I get home. Oh, and trust me, I do that a lot.

Monogrammed Patagonia

Okay, if it's not already obvious enough, I'm just going to come out and say it: I'm obsessed with gifting. Gift-giving, gift-receiving, gift wrapping, gift exchanging, writing gift guides.... It never ends! This year for Christmas I got Jack these UGG Slippers (on major sale right here!), and he got me the monogrammed Patagonia that I'm wearing in this post. It's just the kind of thing every college girl needs; it's comfy, it's cute, it's monogrammed (hello!) and it's perfect for class, the library, sleeping, and Netflixing alll dayyyy long. Oh, and it's also perfect if you needed another idea in addition to my Valentine's Day gift guide! Of course, he didn't actually buy it online already monogrammed... once it came in he took it to a local monogrammed to have it done. #dedication

My Favorite Pajama Shorts

As you can probably imagine, I'm totally the kind of girl who loves a good pajama set. Matching tops and bottoms in patterns and prints... 100% my thing when it comes to sleep attire! However, I knew I wasn't going to want to wander around my dorm in matching sets once I got to college and began looking for just as cute and comfortable pajama attire a few months ago. It took a little while, but it's safe to say that I have discovered something even better in the world of loungewear! Introducing: the monogrammed, ruffled PJ shorts!!!

I usually throw on a big t-shirt or sweatshirt when I sleep, so easy shorts to mix and match with everything are the perfect counterpart. I still feel like my pajamas are "sophisticated" with the little ruffle, and you can obviously tell there isn't much I wouldn't do for a good monogram!!

How cute?! A big thanks to Amore Beaute for sending me the shorts... they've quickly become a favorite in my casual/lounge wardrobe. (Shop her other loungewear right here.)

A Guide to Picking a Monogram Necklace

Hi everyone! I get a lot of questions about where my monogram necklace is from, what size it is, how long my chain is, etc. Monogram necklaces can be tricky to shop for because there is such a wide variety of options. Today I will share the details on my necklace and how to find the monogram necklace that you like best!

Untitled #350

Silver, gold, or acrylic. | Most people decide to go with a silver or gold necklace, but acrylic necklaces are a trendier, more fun, spin on the classic necklace. I would recommend that sticking to silver or gold for your first monogram necklace is the best option because you can wear more with your necklace.

One or two connecting points | When I was picking out my monogram necklace, I knew I needed it to have two connecting points. I personally think it's cuter when the monogram is being "held" on the chain, rather than just dangling from it.

Pendant size | Most people stick to a one inch pendant because that's super average and looks good on everyone. However, I think mini pendant's are super cute, and large pendant's make a statement when worn with a simple outfit.

Script | Monograms necklaces come in a variety of fonts, and this can be the tipping point for deciding on your necklace. My necklace has the letters in a really intricate script so that you sort of have to search for the letters, they aren't spread out and profound like other necklaces. Font and size of letters is a really important part of picking out your necklace because the monogram is what the necklace is all about!

My Necklace... is a silver, one inch, monogrammed necklace with two connecting points and an 18 inch chain. You can purchase the exact necklace {HERE}
