1. Happy weekend! I am really looking forward to this weekend because Joe is visiting! He was supposed to fly in last night but his flight was canceled due to the storms here in NYC. All is well now though- he just landed and it's a sunny day in the city as you are reading this!

2. This week was a fun one on the blog. I finally shared a master list of my NYC recs, so if you are visiting or even just live here and are looking for a new spot to try, you can find that here!

3. I also shared a roundup of spring finds under $200. Soo many cute things, especially fun accessories. I am particularly in love with this oversized button-down and this comfy midi dress, both under $100 and accidentally left out of the post.

4. I am currently reading this book and I'm finding it quite fascinating. I haven't read a self-help book in a while, and I really forgot how nice it is to step out of your own mind and into someone else's to get a new perspective on life and feel like you're really learning something. This book is, in a nutshell, about a theory that life has two mountains: one about yourself and happiness, and one where you self-sacrifice, make a commitment and live for others. I'm enjoying it a lot so far, it was recommended to me by my good friend Isabelle when I was in Madison.

5. Also recently finished both One of Us is Lying (YA murder mystery) and One Italian Summer (light beach read). Absolutely loved them and would highly recommend both!

6. I've actually committed to a skincare routine for over a week for like the first time in my life, and I totally get the hype now. Not only does my skin look great, but I feel so fabulous doing my skincare routine, and it fills me with a lot of self-love and just internal good vibes. Some of my favorite products I am using are this serum (AM and PM), this moisturizer (which gives the most insane glow and has SPF in it - AM only), and this moisturizer for PM.

7. I think I need this crochet fringe dress for summer. 

8. Same with these knit pants!!!! SO cute. Would look fab with an oversized white button down & these sunnies

9. Can't tell if I hate or love the caged shoe trend... kind of love this pair under $150 though
