November Favorites

Happy December, everyone!! November was all a blur... I honestly had to look back through my camera roll to even remember what I did, which (shocker!) wasn't much. Besides the election and Thanksgiving, what even happened? Couldn't tell you! So, this month's favorites will be short and sweet because I don't know what's going on these days!!

This is my new go-to jazz playlist on Spotify. For my October favorites, I linked a different one, but in November I was all about bringing out the festive spirit.

I finished The Queen's Gambit in about a week. It was absolutely incredible, and if you haven't watched it already, what are you doing?? The show is just wonderful, and there is a bit of fashion inspiration thrown in as a treat, we love that!

After the Queen's Gambit I started The Crown. WOW. People have been raving about this one for a while and while I am still on season one, I am absolutely hooked. I can't wait to get caught up, because I am hearing so many mixed reviews on the current season with Princess Diana! Do you watch The Crown?

My recent outfits are all linked on my liketoknow.it page here

My favorite thing was probably these boots... I love them. They go with everything.

I just finished The Vanishing Half and absolutely loved it. Starting The Last House Guest next!

Clove + Hallow sent me this tinted lip mask and I really love it. My lips have been very dry recently and it is super moisturizing while having a nice tint. I also LOVE the body oil they sent! It makes my skin look and feel so good.

Other than those, I've been using my same skincare routine from Haldi! This is my cleanser, this is my moisturizer, and this is the exfoliating mask that I use about once a week. If there's one thing I love the most, it's the mask. It is definitely going on my yearly favorites. It's amazing... gives you a brand new baby face after you use it! I've never tried anything like it. If you try out Haldi, you can add my name (Fran Acciardo) as a referral!

I rejoined my local gym this month because it's simply too cold outside for me to get a workout in these days. I saw someone share the "12-3-30" method on Instagram a couple of weeks ago, and it's pretty much all I've been doing at the gym since. You walk on a 12 incline, at 3 speed, for 30 minutes, and that's it! I don't do this exactly the whole time... I usually move it around and mix it up slightly throughout, but I've found it to be a great workout!

I haven't been working out much since September but trying to be better. I've been unmotivated recently... but working on it!!

Same as October! Still loving my Hush & Hush capsules. I take the Mind Your Mind capsule for sleep and the Time Capsule as my daily vitamin. I love both of them... a lot. I didn't take vitamins or capsules of any sort before the company sent me these to try, but I have truly been loving them so much that I am planning to repurchase on my own when my current bottles run out.

The Mind Your Mind capsule does a great job of calming me down and diminishing the racing thoughts I usually have before bed. I notice a huge difference in my ability to fall asleep on the nights I don't take it. I also am super prone to nightmares and have not gotten a nightmare once when I've taken one of these before bed, so that is huge for me!!

As for the Time Capsule, I just feel that it's such a great combination of essential vitamins for someone around my age, and I feel good knowing that I've been giving my body a little boost of good things every single morning. Some of the benefits listed on the website include: acts as a beauty supplement for the skin; protects against environmental damage and blue light damage; reduces redness and breakouts; boosts immunity with zinc, vitamin C, and ginseng; and replaces the need for a daily multivitamin!

Still obsessed with the Revlon! I feel like everyone probably has it by now, but if you don't... it's under $50 and will probably change how you style your hair forever. I have naturally pretty curly hair and can get a fabulous blowout without barely doing anything, in under 10 mins! Game-changer.

I have a new obsession. For breakfast the past few weeks I've been making toast with cream cheese + avocado... it's the creamiest, most delish combo and I can not get enough. Last week alone I think I ate it every day for breakfast and lunch. So. Good. I've been loving the Trader Joe's Tuscan pane bread.

My favorite discovery was Allie Boys bagels in Milwaukee. Just... wow.

I have a new favorite little "cocktail" that is so perfect for winter. I discovered Five Farms Irish Cream at the liquor store (mostly because it's in a cute bottle... but also because the guy recommended it to me!) and it couldn't be more delicious!! I drink a splash of it on ice with a dash of cinnamon on top. Perfect for after dinner at this time of year, especially!

I am obsessed with these two winter candles: this one from a small business, and this one from Target. Both are wonderful and incredibly fragrant.

What were you loving in November?
xoxo

  1. I finished the Queen's Gambit in a little under a week, too - it was amazing! I've also wanted to read Brit Bennett's "The Vanishing Half" for so long, and am glad to hear you enjoyed it!

    1. Queen's Gambit was the show I didn't know I needed to watch-- so different from something I'd usually love, but incredible! And yes, highly recommend the vanishing half!
