Look On The Bright Side

When the school year started I was convinced my life could not get better. I was having great days every single day for about a month, and I could usually find any little reason to smile throughout the day. My life was going smoothly, and the clear skies didn't seem to fade.... until last week.

When I was in New York, talking to my friends, I realized that I assume a lot of you guys know about things that I've never actually talked about on the blog. Weird, I know. Some things are just such a big aspect of my life I don't even think it needs to be mentioned, but in actuality, you have no idea what I'm doing with my life!
My dad lives in Rhode Island, that's why we have the house out there (it's not just a random other house), and he came back in town last week for a surgery he had yesterday. My parent's are divorced, so when he comes back in town, I usually like to stay with him! Makes sense, right? So, last week, I was at dad's house when I realized all of the things I had to go through my sophomore year of high school. The divorce, my dad moving across the country, and quite a few other things I will probably end up mentioning in some other rant of a post ;)

The point of this isn't to ask for pity, because TBH I really don't care that much about certain things (I tend to be a little abrasive... oops), but to show that you don't need to let the little things (or the big things) get you down. Even when your life seems to be falling apart, there's always a silver lining where you can find something to smile about.

Enjoy today!
xoxo
