Fran's Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Picks

Happy Friday everyone! This week I am postponing this week's top 10 (just a little) as the Nordstrom sale opened to the public and I really wanted to share some of my picks with all of you. I typically find the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale overwhelming, over-hyped, and honestly, a little annoying, but this year as the offices start to reopen, I've begun thinking about (or panicking about tbh) my current non-existent work wardrobe and I figured a new work wardrobe was a good reason to peruse the sale. I ended up finding quite a few pieces, both work-related and not, that I thought were a good deal and worth sharing. I surprisingly found a lot of really cute jackets and beauty items in particular!

The sale is officially open to the public so below I've rounded up pieces that are still in stock (as of this morning). Find all of my picks at the bottom of this post, but a few notes directly below:

Nordstrom Sale Faves: Clothing, Beauty + Home

I haven't done a post dedicated to the Nordstrom Sale since 2016, but since I am actually planning to shop it this year, I wanted to share my faves from the preview. You guys know I love a sale moment, and I was surprised by how many things I genuinely loved in this year's sale. If you don't care about the sale then just ignore this -- I get it, that's been me for the last few years, too!

This Week's Top 10

1. 10 Times Damsel in Dior "Did it for the Gram." Jacey's post was not only so interesting to read and take a peek behind the scenes, but such a reminder of how Instagram's lens onto our lives really doesn't capture it all.

2. Madewell never has sales, and this weekend they are offering an extra 30% off all sale items! A few things that I love and are still available in multiple sizes: this ruffle skirt, these culotte pants, a pretty ruffle top, and classic buckle sandals. 

3. Public access to the Nordstrom Sale starts today!!! A few of the things I am loving...

For the home...

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Picks

Today is the final day for Early Access to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, which means that public access for anyone to shop starts tomorrow!!! I've rounded up my picks from the sale and organized them into shapable widgets, which means you can click the icon next to each product and be directed over to the Nordstrom site. I've also organized my picks into six categories: dorm, fitness, accessories, shoes, and beauty so your shopping can be made easy.

You might wonder why I skipped fashion but to be completely honest I just didn't love a ton of the clothing options in the sale! I think a lot of bloggers have already covered that, too. The only thing I want to quick mention is this pair of dark wash skinny jeans that are under $50 and look like they'd be an amazing staple for everyone's wardrobe.

Oh, but the best part about my particular shopping guide?! Almost everything I've picked is under $100! Get to it...

Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale Picks

Hello, hello! I hope you all had an absolutely wonderful Christmas and have enjoyed some time off from school, work, etc! I'm so excited about the Nordstrom half-yearly sale going on right now because my Christmas gift cards and cash can be put to good use and there are a ton of amazing things to shop from. The sale runs until January 3rd, aka Sunday, so there's a little less than a week left to shop. Don't miss out!

My pajama picks...

I'm in love with this lobster PJ set and this bra is gorgeous! Not to mention, this other bra would totally channel your inner Kendall Jenner... #goals, and it's under $20 and so comfy.

My accessory picks...

This perfume smells amazing, this little cross-body is the cutest thing I've ever seen, and just imagine how cozy this scarf is.

My clothing picks...

I tried on this top in store and I loved it in the green color! I'm definitely considering snagging it during this sale. And how fabulous is that fur coat?!

My Nordstrom Sale Picks

I know I don't usually post on weekends, but I couldn't resist sharing my favorites from the Nordstrom sale going on this weekend. I was in Chicago yesterday and I had a ton of fun at Nordstrom perusing the racks. I didn't pick up too much just because hectic/busy stores tend to send me into a frazzled mess, but my mom had some success at the sale, so it must be good :) And, shopping online is so easy and organized that I don't mind picking out a few things with the click of my mouse instead.

Liberty of London x Nordstrom

A few of the boutiques in the Hampton's carried Liberty of London, and I was smitten with the classic floral prints all over again on my trip. I haven't seen Liberty of London cross my way in a few years and then when I discovered the new pop-up shop now available at Nordstrom, I got so excited! I think despite the bright colors and eye-catching print, Liberty of London pieces will always remain in style.  The collection is mostly cute little accessories and things, but I think they're all fun options to brighten any space. And, not to mention, the sale at Nordstrom starting soon is an excuse to add a few more things to your cart anyways!
