Senior Spring Break!!

I spontaneously booked my spring break trip over the weekend and I can't believe I'm going to Gulf Shores, Alabama with friends in just about three weeks!!!

I went out with some of my friends a couple of weeks ago and they invited me to get in on their Air BnB to Gulf Shores, which sounded fun but I was super hesitant. If we're being completely honest, I'm pretty scared... I have no idea what to expect, and I hope it's not insanely crazy (at least for the entire trip). I'm going with five other girls, two of whom I'm really close to, but other than that, I don't know anyone else super well!

If you're unfamiliar, Gulf Shores is a college spring break destination, so a lot of other people from my school and other schools will be there at the same time! It's basically just going to be five days of partying in a beach town.

I went back and forth for a couple of weeks and really didn't think I was going to go, but after two glasses of wine and a little convincing from the girls and my mom, my flights were booked, so apparently, I'm going!

We are only going for four nights, so it will definitely go by quickly. I didn't really have any alternative options for the break because I'm going on a huge trip with my parents after graduation, and my roommates all have their own things going on. My mom kept telling me I'd regret not going and that I'd have FOMO if I didn't do a wild senior spring break, which was pretty convincing. I also thought it would be nice to spend a couple of days with new friends because I'm always with my roommates, and as much as I love them, I think it's really important to branch out, especially as I'm going to be doing a lot of that when I move to a new city this summer!

It won't be super warm, so I'll probably only pack 1-2 swimsuits, and a few casual outfits for hanging out during the day. The majority of my attention will be geared toward going out outfits for the four nights! I'm pretty good at rallying and being able to hang, but four nights in a row might be a new record for me...

All in all, I'm really trying to get excited and not worry about it too much! I know it'll end up being so much fun and the girls I'm going with are so nice. If you've ever done a crazy college spring break, please let me know how it went or any tips you have for surviving!!!!!

What are your spring break plans?
xoxo

  1. Y'all have to go to the Florabama. Our family has a beach house in a more residential area nearby, but the Florabama is a must and make sure you drink a Bushwacker at some point! Have a blast!
