Part II: Birthday in Palm Beach RECAP

Welcome to Part II of my Palm Beach birthday recap! Today I am sharing everything I did on my actual birthday, which was the 20th. Turning 20 on my 20th made this year extra special (golden!) and the day was perfect from start to finish.

I woke up went downstairs for a cup of coffee and a little reading by the pool. My dad met me by the pool about a half an hour later, and we joked that I should start reading the news now that I'm in my twenties... but let's be real, if it's not a beach read or the latest VOGUE, I'm probably not going to read it.

We got dressed and went on a bike ride to West Palm Beach for coffee and croissants for breakfast. I wore this ribbed white teethis skort, my big straw hat, and my silver Jack Rogers.

We did a little shopping on Worth Avenue, popping into the gorgeous Aerin store where I picked up this fragrance I'd been wanting forever and a beautiful gold bracelet. My dad also picked out a new charm for my charm bracelet at Tiffany-- the most adorable little pink pig!

We biked back to the hotel and went to the pool for a little bit! This seersucker men's shirt I picked up last-minute from J. Crew made for the perfect cover-up.

After the pool we went to the Avocado Grill for chips + crab guacamole. I changed into this denim skirt and this bow-front tank top... the whole time I felt like I was giving off major Meredith Blake vibes from The Parent Trap!! Don't you see it?!?!

We drove around for a bit after our mid-afternoon snack and saw Mar-A-Lago, Trump's Palm Beach residence. These cool cars were parked in a neighborhood around the block... I just thought this photo was cute :)

We went back to the hotel with a bottle of Veuve and had a few glasses of champagne while getting ready for our night. I wore lucite heels with my jumpsuit and loved the look of them-- how cool is this pink lucite pair?!

How cute are the hallways at The Colony?!

We went to The Seafood Bar at the Breakers to celebrate and we went crazy... oysters on the half shell, jumbo shrimp, scallops, truffle fries, mac and cheese... oh, and they brought out a brownie skillet for my birthday! To say we were stuffed afterwards would be an understatement, but it was so worth it. The Breakers itself is incredible... look at that ballroom!

Tuesday morning we played tennis for an hour, hung out by the pool, and my best friend even had cupcakes sent to the hotel. Before we knew it, it was time to head to the airport!

Overall the trip was amazing and I feel so lucky to have spent such a nice weekend in Palm Beach with my dad!!! Thank you all for following along, and for all of the sweet birthday wishes you sent over the course of my trip. I appreciated every single comment and felt so lucky!

xoxo
